No Worries Apartments house rules

Dear guests,

Welcome to No Worries Apartments.

To make sure that your stay will be pleasant and to prevent misunderstandings, please read the rules of No Worries Apartments.

They will help to create a harmonic stay.

Should you find that any facility that we provide, is not to your satisfaction or expectations, or if you need help or information about local events or services, please let us know. We are here to help you.

Arrival and departure

The apartment will be available from 5 pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 12 am on the departure day.

Earlier arrival or later departure is possible when there are no other customers. The customers have the possibility to take shower before leaving.

Consider not to leave any food in the apartment when leaving. The kitchen and the whole accommodation should be left in a tidy and clean condition.

Damage/loss

Damage or loss  caused by the tenant should immediately be reported to the staff. Missing or damaged items have to be financially compensated.

Payment of the rent and electricity of the apartment

An advance of 50 % of the rent has to be paid when booking the apartment.

Upon arrival the remainder of the rent and the electricity consumption (50 dalasis/day or 1 euro/day) have to be paid cash.

Electricity

The electricity consumption does not include uncommon additional appliances that use lots of electricity. Additional expenses can be charged in accordance with the estimated power consumption.

It is possible that water and electricity are temporarily not available. Gambia is not Europe ! The staff always tries to find a solution  (example : using generator), but asks for your understanding for this inconvenience.

Keys

The key will be handed over directly by your arrival. On request you can have a second key of the apartment. On the departure day the keys have to be given back before 12 am.

If you lose the keys, we charge 1000 dalasis for the cost of replacements.

Rest period

In appreciation of our neighbour’s we kindly ask you to follow the rest periods between 11 pm and 7 am. You are not allowed to make excessive noise by using the radio, TV or other appliances as well as musical instruments.

Towels/bedsheets

 Bedsheets will be changed once a week. It is possible to change towels every day (just put them on the floor in the bathroom). We ask not to use towels outside the apartments (beach, …..).

Kitchen

The dishes have to be done by the tenant. The stove,  refrigerator, cooking pots, …. have to be cleaned and dried by the tenant after being used.

Animals

Animals are not allowed in the apartments.

 Smoking /drugs

Smoking is not allowed inside the apartments. You can smoke outside where ash trays are provided for your convenience.

Using drugs is not allowed  inside or outside the apartments.

Visitors

Inviting persons who are not registered as guests in order to stay and use the apartment facilities is only possible on request maximum for 1 person.

Swimming pool        

The swimming pool can be used from 9 am until 9 pm. Visitors who use the swimming pool pay 100 dal/day.

Rights of the proprietor and general manager

The proprietor and general manager are entitled to cancel the use of services to the guest whose behavior is disturbing the peace or to refuse accommodation. The total amount for accommodation has to be paid during the reserved period. If you decide to terminate your reservation earlier than agreed, payment must be made for the whole period you have reserved.

In absence of the guest, in particular circumstances, the proprietor and his staff may enter the apartment in order to prevent possible damage or danger. The proprietor and the staff are obliged to inform the guest about their entry into the apartment. Exception =cleaning.

Accidents

The proprietor is not responsible for accidents or theft.
